The Dog Days of Summer

Want to go kayaking, but don't want to leave the pup at home? You don't have to!  Our kayaks and canoes are dog friendly here on the Bass River of Cape Cod. All summer, dogs enjoy the boat rides and swim in the clean waters. There are plenty of birds and interesting sites for the dogs, as well as sand bars and beaches for the dogs to play on. There is plenty of room in the kayaks to fit them too! Kayaking with your pup usually works best if your dog is medium or small sized, but we've had bigger dogs try their paws at kayaking too. "Minnie" the dog, enjoys the spotlight and boat rides. There's plenty of space in the kayaks, since the human paddler's feet go on the sides of the boat. Fun times are always had by all! "Cappy" the dog enjoys kayaking at least once a month. As you can see, this 55lb dog fits just fine! East Beach (the backside of West Dennis Beach) on Bass River, is a fan
